Will we still believe when the dark darkens?
Will we still believe when the smoke thickens?
Will we still believe when the fire intensifies?
Will we still believe when the water floods?
Will we still believe when the wind hurls?
Will we still believe when the persecution comes?
Will we still believe when the hatred mounts?
Will we still believe when the sickness worsens?
Will we still believe when the unemployment persists?
Will we still believe when the money goes?
Will we still believe when the friendships fail?
Will we still believe when the world crumbles?
May we still believe and proclaim:
God is our only rock and our salvation,
our fortress; we will not be shaken.
On Him rests our salvation and glory;
our mighty rock, our refuge is God!!! (Psalm 62:6-7)
We will still believe!!!
